Flying to ease the suffering of illness
On Saturday April 8, Aviation Sans Frontières Belgium and its volunteers offered a moment of wonder to 8 children, each accompanied by a parent.
These families are supported by the associations Ensemble Pas-à-Pas and Une Etoile qui Danse. These non-profit organizations, founded by parents of children who have been through the experience of cancer, offer support to the families concerned in dealing with the disease, helping them to find the most balanced quality of life possible.
I thought the hot-air balloon ride was really cool
and I'd do it again, because I loved it!
Flying to ease the suffering of illness...
The balloon ride was incredible!
The warmth was there, with the flame beside us.
I loved this trip!
It's 10 times better than a plane!
Plus we had a great view
and the sunset was behind us!
