Alicia Lui – air health support project : Medical Air Support

Alicia has a diploma in nursing sciences and has started the last year of her master's in Public Health at ULB, specialising in ‘Politics and the promotion of Health’. She did an internship of three months at Doctors Without Borders, Belgium, in 2021 with Aerial Health Support as a theme. From 18-24 September 2022, she volunteered on-site for Medicine by Air, with the Medicaero NGO, in the Ampanihya District in  Madagascar.

Working on site has helped me to understand the challenges and difficulties that locals face every day. It also permitted me to get a real vision of current projects in ASF. This experience has been the most enriching of my professional life.
